The Nursery Garden & Plant Sales
Our plant sales area began life as a pair of
trestle tables from which we sold plants that
we had propagated that were surplus to our
garden needs. Today the Nursery is much
larger, but it still contains varieties of plants
that are propagated from those growing in the
garden, many of which are rare and generally
not available.
When we find new and exciting plants
for the garden we always endeavour to
propagate from them so as to be able to share
them with garden visitors. However, there are
times when visitors have to be patient as
sometimes it may take a few years for us to build
up enough stock to sell, hence the reason for
some plants rareness.
When viewing the garden always ask at
the plant centre if you have seen a plant that you
covert. Who knows you may be lucky and we
may have the plant of your desire tucked away, if
not we may even offer to propagate it for you.
