The Long Borders

... The Long Borders which have, along each side, six wooden trellis columns covered with various ivies, four variegated and two green. These help sustain interest throughout the winter as do the four box domes each side. The Long Borders' main season is from June until October and we refer to them as Long Borders as opposed to Herbaceous Borders because we use annuals, pots and bedding to sustain interest throughout the season.

The one thing to remember is that gardening is fun and that is how we always try to make it. To see a dead patch and imagine how wonderful something would look there, even if only for a week is part of the pleasure of gardening. That 'something' will then come out and can be replaced again and again.
